CX-500, miniature electret instrument microphone
That's what strings and many other acoustic instrumentalists have long been waiting for! The CX-500 allows perfect miking up of the instrument without the irritating setup of a stand. A pure and powerful sound which perfectly reproduces the natural sound characteristics of the instrument across a wide dynamic range and evokes the enjoyment of playing music or listening to it.
The numerous possibilities of attaching the microphone allow for a precise positioning of the microphone in order to achieve a perfect alignment and prevent the instrument from damage. The innovative tailpiece which is positioned behind the bridge is a special highlight and can be used both standing or in a suspended way. The material characteristics effectively suppress undesired structure-borne sound and allow for maximum mobility.
The 10dB attenuator as well as two switchable low cut filters in the phantom power supply adapter make a perfect adjustment of the level and sound possible even before processing inside the mixer. Impedance transformation and electronic balancing allow for long supply lines without sound deterioration. The power supply adapter features a belt clip with strain relief and can be attached to the body if required.
A wireless operation is possible with respective wireless transmitter systems from JTS.
